Dr. Rianne Decker Evans
Welcome to Heartland Home Veterinary Care. I'm excited to share my story with you. My name is Rianne Decker Evans, though most clients know me as Dr. Decker. I was raised in the Texas Panhandle and knew I wanted to be veterinarian from a very young age. My passion for learning and animal care led me to Texas A&M Veterinary School and Colorado State University to graduate and pursue an internship.
After experiencing the joys and heartbreaks of ER work and routine day practice, I felt a calling to help clients and pets through a different way to approach end-of-life care. Heartland Home Veterinary care was born and I am truly honored and grateful to help owners say goodbye to their pets in the comfort of their home surroundings.
There are very few things as difficult as saying goodbye to a beloved companion and my goals are to make the process as peaceful and as loving as possible. I have taken advanced training in order to further build the skills and knowledge needed to make this difficult process easier for pets and owners that I work with. I am proud to call myself a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, volunteering at the Brownwood Community Garden, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with my young daughter, husband, cat and dog.
